The boss stormed out of his office, clearly angry. “Little Johnny! Get in my office right now!” he shouted across the room.
Little Johnny, startled but obedient, quickly stood up. “Yes, sir!” he said and hurried in.
The boss folded his arms and gave him a stern look. “Little Johnny, I just saw you arguing with the customer who left a few minutes ago. Haven’t I told you that the customer is always right?”
Johnny nodded quickly. “Yes, sir! The customer is always right.”
“Good,” said the boss, calming down slightly. “Then tell me — what were you arguing about?”
Johnny scratched his head, then replied confidently, “He said you’re an idiot, sir… and I was just trying to tell him he’s wrong.”
The boss froze for a second — and then couldn’t help but laugh.
